Amy & Pete

Amy and Pete were married in September at the Bell Event Centre. I have known Amy for quite a while now (she is the Editor of CincyChic) and was so excited when she came to me to help with her wedding coordination! Amy chose a gorgeous, classic color scheme of deep reds and gold which perfectly complemented the Event Centre's decor. The flowers were all done by the amazing Courtenay Lambert (whose work can be seen all over this blog!). The wedding cake was created by Cotillion Events which is a new bakery located in the Madison Wedding Mall. Cotillion also provided the groom's cake, which was a surprise in and of itself but also a surprise in that it revealed to the groom their honeymoon itinerary with a map of Italy!

Music was a HUGE part of this wedding ~ the ceremony music was performed by their family friends, Brian and Ann, and the reception music, while headlined by Kelly Red and the Hammerheads, also featured friends and family jumping in to perform! One of Pete's groomsmen was Eliot Sloan of Blessid Union of Souls, and he dedicated a song to the newlyweds. CSC provided fun, colorful lighting to add to the atmosphere of the reception.

Many thanks to my associate coordinators Lauren and Amanda for making it all happen (in the photos below you'll see a shot of Amanda peeking her head in to check on Amy - love it!).

And now for the best part, truly amazing photos by the talented Neysa Ruhl. Neysa, you really know how to capture the moment - your photos tell great stories :)

Congrats Amy & Pete!
